PhD in Design and Innovation since 2016.
Research Fellow at Sapienza University of Rome, Department of Planning, Design, and Technology of Architecture since 2020.
Her research interests mainly focus on Product and Service Design, Design-Driven Innovation and Design for User Experience in the Medical and Healthcare contexts.

Angela was Visiting PhD Student at IADE Creative University, Lisbon and member of the Research Unit of the UNDICOM Department for the research European project “MOnarCH – Multi-Robot Cognitive Systems Operating in Hospitals”. She was the conference scientific coordinator of the International Conference Design for Next – 12th EAD (2017) and the International Conference Design Culture(s) – Cumulus Roma (2021). Additionally, she was an editorial member of the scientific journal (class A) Diid Disegno Industriale – Industrial Design.

She serves as Principal Investigator, Scientific Coordinator and Member of the research units of various projects both nationally and internationally on Design for Healthcare. She regularly carries out dissemination activities by participating in international conferences as a selected speaker in conferences with peer review procedures and as reviewer of the scientific contributions.
She currently holds the intellectual property of the International Patent “Incubator for the transport of high-risk infants” (US Patent 10,765,579, 2020) and two National Utility Models.
