Joel-Eric Missainhoun

Joel-Eric MISSAINHOUN is a distinguished business lawyer, executive search expert, and human capital strategist with more than twenty years of experience supporting leadership development and organizational transformation across Africa. He currently serves as Managing Partner of AfricSearch Côte d’Ivoire and Executive Director of the AfricSearch office in Abidjan, where he oversees operations in several Francophone African countries and advises leading organizations on executive recruitment, talent management, and leadership development.
Joel-Eric holds a Master’s Degree (DESS) in Banking and Financial Law from the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and is a graduate of the Paris Bar School, qualifying him as an attorney. He further strengthened his leadership and management expertise by completing an Executive MBA at HEC Paris, one of Europe’s leading business schools.
Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Joel-Eric is deeply committed to Africa’s socio-economic development and leadership ecosystem. He actively contributes to several international and pan-African organizations, including the World Design Organization, where he serves as Community Liaison for Africa, and initiatives dedicated to youth empowerment, excellence, and sustainable development across the continent.
